Creamy overnight bircher
Okay so as much as I STRONGLY DISLIKE having a very SENSITIVE gut
it has allowd be to experiment and find other ways to create the meals that i love that are IBS friendly. so welcome to my favourite breakfast meal to date!
why soaking the bircher overnight
is super important for the gut!
soaking the seeds overnight 'activates' them, which helps break down the phytic acid which the body can struggle to break down. so soaking them makes it so much easier on the digestion.

OVERNIGHT BIRCHER INGREDIENTS -
2 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp flax seeds
2 tbsp coconut flakes
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of Himalayan salt
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 scoops of plant protein
1/2 cup water or plant milk
1 tbsp cacao nibs *optional
1/4 cup sultanas *OPTIONAL , DRIED FRUIT CAN TEND TO EFFECT IBS
TO ADD ONTOP OF THE OVERNIGHT BURCHA -
1 TBSP NUT BUTTER *OPTIONAL BUT, RECOMMENDED BECAUSE ITS LIFE YO
1/3 CUP BERRIES OR SLICED BANANA
1 TBSP COCONUT OR FULL FAT GREEK YOGHURT
1/2 TBSP HONEY
Add all the ingredients into a jar or small mixing bowl,
Stir in your water/plant milk
You can choose to add the toppings before it goes in the fridge or fresh the next day. I do like to add mine to my bircher in a jar to just grab and go for the next day.
Transfer to the fridge to set and enjoy cool the next day!
