PEANUT BUTTER, TAHINI..DATES..NUTS

THESE ARE THE KING INGREDIENTS WHEN IT COMES TO MAKING RAW TREATS (IN MY OPINION ANYWAY)

YALL JUST GOTTA GET THE RATIO RIGHT,

AND LIL CHRIS IS HERE TO SHARE WITH YOU MY TOP.. YES MY TOP FAVOURITE RAW TREAT (BIG CALL BUT ALSO NOT A SURPRISE SEEING I HAVE 2-3 OF THESE BAD BOYS DAILY #NOREGRETS) RECIPE. 

* WITH THIS SLICE, I LEAVE IT IN THE FREEZER, IT MAKES IT SUPER CRUNCHY, AND AN EASY REFRESHING GRAB ON THE GO SNACK.. TRY IT, GAME CHANGER.

BASE LAYER INGREDIENTS -

  • 1 CUP pitted medjool dates *soaked

  • 1/3 cup buckinis

  • 1/3 cup goji berries

  • 3 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1/3 cup pepitas seeds

  • 1/3 cup almonds (my fav are roasted almonds)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp stevia *optional

  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil

  • 3 tbsp tahini

INSTRUCTIONS -

  1. add half of the buckinis, dates, peanut butter, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract and stevia into a blender. pulse for 60 seconds.

  2. the mixture should be clunky and sticky, transfer it into a mixing bowl.

  3. stir in the rest of the buckinis, almonds, goji berries and pepitas seeds, mix.. it should form into cookie dough texture, you may need to add more buckinis or coconut oil to moist or thicken it up.

  4. place the mixture into a square container or baking pan lined with baking paper, flatten and spread the mix until its an even inch thick.

  5. spread the tahini ontop, place in the freezer.

  6. after 30 minutes or so, take it out and cut them into equal square bite sizes, pop back into the freezer the store and enjoy as a dessert or snack.
